Arctic Energy Precursor Set for Sunday
Webcenter 11 online: 鈥淒elegates from around the world will be flying in to Fairbanks this weekend as researchers from the University of AV狼论坛 Fairbanks kick off a lead-in event to the 2015 Arctic Energy Summit that starts Monday.
The AV狼论坛 Center for Energy and Power and the Institute of the North will host an event Sunday from 5 to 8 PM at the Blue Loon featuring UAF researchers and guest speaker U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski. The presentation will highlight how AV狼论坛 and UAF contribute to the challenges the Arctic currently faces today.
ACEP Director Gwen Holdmann says it will be an excellent opportunity for the local community to network with people studying across the arctic.鈥
