Join us for two summers of fieldwork in partnership with tribal communities in two regions of AV狼论坛. You will build research skills, learn filmmaking practices, explore how climate changes are affecting local subsistences practices and engage in intergenerational dialogue between students and Elders. Selected students will spend 5 weeks during the 2022 season participating in a two-week intensive course and three-weeks of fieldwork in Arctic Village, AV狼论坛. Students are also expected to commit to a second season of fieldwork (2023) in the Bristol Bay region.

Development in partnership with the University of Arizona and Haverford College is
seeking
undergraduate students from the University of AV狼论坛 to participate in a National
Science Foundation (NSF) funded research project.
Space is limited to 5 students who will engage in two summers of anthropological fieldwork working in partnership with tribal communities from two regions of the state. Students will build research and filmmaking skills and explore how climate change is affecting community subsistence practices.
