Join me for the forum on the budget

Please join me and the leadership team for a public forum on the budget from 1:10-2:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, in the Murie Building auditorium.

Staff, faculty and students are encouraged to review the following questions and come with ideas. This is an opportunity for university leaders to hear from you.

The forum will be for those who are unable to attend in person. Comments can also be submitted in advance . Seating is limited.

Questions to think about in advance:
  • Are there units that should be spared from more budget reductions and why?
  • To what areas should we reallocate money as strategic investments?
  • Are there program or administrative consolidations we should implement? If yes, what are these?
  • Are there processes or programs that we should stop doing? If yes, what are these?
  • Are there things UAF administration should be doing to better engage our faculty, staff and students?
