Strategic Pathways forum next week

UA President Jim Johnsen and UAF Chancellor Dana Thomas will host an open forum on the Strategic Pathways options in phase two from 1- 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in the Wood Center Carol Brown Ballroom. The forum is open to students, faculty and staff.

Snedden lecturer Parvaz will discuss refugee crises

Dorothy Parvaz, a senior producer with Al Jazeera English, will present "On the Run: Covering the Global Refugee Crisis" as part of the Snedden lecture series at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in the Murie Building auditorium.

Participate in UAF survey of borough bus use

The UAF Office of the Bursar is conducting an anonymous survey to determine how many students, faculty and staff use the Fairbanks North Star Borough's bus system and if the partnership between UAF and the borough should continue.

Conversation Café will discuss gender bias in hiring, promotion and tenure

The Committee on the Status of Women will host a Conversation Cafe in two sessions to discuss gender bias in hiring, promotion and tenure. The conversations will be held from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in 103/105 Murie Building and 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at The Pub in Wood Center.
