First reindeer calves born at Fairbanks Experiment Farm

Three reindeer calves, the first ones of 2018, arrived this weekend at the Fairbanks Experiment Farm. The arrival of the first reindeer calf at the farm is a rite of spring.

UAF Wind Symphony and Fairbanks Community Band performance

The UAF Wind Symphony and the Fairbanks Community Band will perform a free concert April 22 at 4 p.m. in the Davis Concert Hall. The concert features works by American composers celebrating the tunes that have shaped the American musical landscape.

'Theo's Choice' film screening

A screening of the documentary "Theo's Choice" will be held April 24, at 5:30 p.m. in ELIF 301. The film explores education and French heritage in Louisiana and how globalization could save a language from disappearing.
