Work is being done on the ramp leading from the Eielson parking lot and the adjacent sidewalk. A section of the trench drain between Wood Center and Gruening will also be replaced.

A small, fenced-in area at the Fairbanks Experiment Farm contains the longest continuously running weather observation station in AVÀÇÂÛ̳. The World Meteorological Organization will honor the station for its service this fall.
