Annual 5K race promotes Troth Yeddha’ legacy

The Seventh Annual Troth Yeddha’ Run for the Park will start at noon Saturday, Sept. 8. The 5K race raises awareness about Troth Yeddha’ Park, on the Fairbanks campus, and celebrates AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Native history, culture and traditions.

Museum to create online database of AVÀÇÂÛ̳ flora

It has been more than 50 years since scientists completed a comprehensive survey of AVÀÇÂÛ̳’s plants. Now the University of AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Museum of the North will use a nearly $500,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to create an innovative online database of AVÀÇÂÛ̳’s plants.
