Wellness program deadline, biometric screenings
The wellness program deadline is Monday, April 30. All program requirements must be completed by this date to receive the FY19 wellness rebate. Part of the wellness rebate program includes betting a biometric screening. The last two screenings on the Fairbanks campus are March 5 and 6.

FY19 wellness rebate payout change
In FY19, the wellness rebate will be distributed as a lump-sum payment! Employees and spouses/FIPs who complete the wellness program requirements by April 30, 2018, will get their rebate as a lump sum in November.

Presentation: Sagavanirktok flood
Flooding of the Dalton Highway in March and May 2015 caused its closing for several weeks. This Feb. 16 presentation by Yuri Shur will consider causes of flooding and the impact of flooding on permafrost and shore erosion.

Exploring mobility event
The student chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children is hosting a community meeting on mobility Feb. 17. Attendees will experience mobility problems first-hand and learn what it's like to navigate the world with an accessibility issue.

Grad Fair 2018
The student Grad Fair takes place March 6 in the Wood Center mall. Students can find out about commencement, grab a corn dog and some root beer, snag some giveaways, and a whole lot more. Staff from the Office of the Registrar will be on hand to answer questions.
