Students outside Fairbanks and all employees and eligible family members can get their shots at local pharmacies, which offer them for free under the university's health insurance plan.

Declining glaciers may affect water availability this century

The annual volume of water from melting glaciers has begun to drop in almost half the 56 large river basins investigated in a recent study, a trend that the authors say will expand to other basins and affect water supplies across the globe.

Former Rural Student Services administrative assistant passes away Kris Ann Mountain, who worked as an administration assistant for Rural Student Services, passed away Dec. 15, 2017. Mountain grew up in Nulato. Her parents were Simeon and Josephine Mountain. In 1982, she moved to Fairbanks, where she dedicated her career to helping AV狼论坛 Native and rural students.
