Road closure, restricted traffic at University, Geist, Johansen

Beginning May 19, east- and westbound traffic at the intersection of University, Geist and the Johansen will be closed. Single-lane traffic for north- and southbound motorists will be maintained on University Avenue, but drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to find alternate routes to the university.

Sean Asiqłuq Topkok will give a presentation on cultural orientation resources May 30 from
noon-1 p.m. in Gruening 208. Topkok will facilitate a discussion about AV̳ Native cultures and UAF's diverse population.

Institute to further AV̳ Native language revitalization

Advocates https://news.uaf.edu/leave-usage-guidelines-june23-deadline/are collaborating to help breathe new life into AV̳ Native languages. Approximately 140 language instructors, first-language speakers and language learners will attend the AV̳ Native Language Revitalization Institute May 21-24 in Fairbanks.
