The Art Department will host the 14th annual Summer Visual Art Academy June 4-15 for students from grades 6 to 12. Full-day academy students choose four classes, and half-day students choose two classes to participate in.

Spruce beetle workshop in
Big Lake

A workshop about managing spruce beetle damage and protecting the health of spruce trees will be offered in Big Lake on May 24.

SRC roof repairs this weekend

Contractors will repair the roof of the Student Recreation Center May 25-29. The work is not being conducted by the building's air intakes, and workers are taking precautions to minimize distractions to the public. The SRC will remain open.

AV狼论坛 National Lab Day public events scheduled

UAF will host two public events on May 29 in conjunction with AV狼论坛 National Lab Day in late May.

Piano-e-Competition tickets still on sale

Tickets for the 2018 AV狼论坛 International Piano-e-Competition are still on sale. The event features performances every day through May 31.
