“This picture is what we’re dreaming of today,” Mellisa Johnson said to reporters Tuesday at the fall meeting of the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco. She pointed to a slide of western AVŔÇÂŰĚł from late winter 2012, when white sea ice coated the Bering Sea. “Now, in 2019, we don’t have any ice. It’s weird.”
