University of AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Fairbanks scientists are developing a new method to predict ecosystem change in Interior AVÀÇÂÛ̳, and their techniques could prove useful elsewhere in the world. The study uses real-time water data, rather than simulations, to predict ecosystem “tipping points."
