Students, staff celebrated at TRIO ceremony

Students who overcome barriers and the people who support them will be celebrated at an event Feb. 21 from noon-2 p.m. in Wood Center.

World Anthropology Day

This Feb. 22 event features food and giveaways from 2-3 p.m., and a presentation on cultural anthropology and diplomacy from 3-4 p.m., both in Bunnell 302.

'From Genes to Ecosystems'

Frank Stewart, a candidate for assistant professor in microbiology, will give his presentation in the Murie Building auditorium on Feb. 22 at 4 p.m.

'An Evening of Mozart Opera'

Nine students from UAF and six from UAA will present an evening of Mozart's operas March 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Davis Concert Hall.
