$5,000 technology awards

Students, staff and faculty can apply for grants for technology-related equipment and software for student-based instruction and research. The deadline is March 23.

Nominations for Brina Kessel Medal for Excellence in Science

Nominations are due March 20. The medal is presented annually to an outstanding senior in natural sciences at UAF.

Career Services at the University of AV̳ Fairbanks will host its spring job and internship fair Feb. 19 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in Wood Center.

Ray Troll talk, book signing

Artist Ray Troll will give a talk at a book signing
Feb. 22 at the UA Museum of the North. He will discuss his explorations and art, including the making of the “Cruisin’ the Fossil Coastline” exhibit, now on display in the museum’s special exhibits gallery.

Registration open for UAF Summer Music Academy

Early registration for the 2020 UAF Summer Music Academy is now open. Register by Feb. 28 and receive a $50 discount. The academy is scheduled for June 1-12 in the Fine Arts Building.
