UAF awardedÌýMilitary FriendlyÌýbronze status

The designation puts UAF in the top 30% of Military Friendly colleges across the country. UAF has been a Military Friendly school since 2010.

Correction: Film, discussion about WWII Aleutian campaign

"When the Fog Clears" is a documentary film that features remembrances by Japanese and American descendants of those who died in the Aleutian Islands campaign. The film will be shown at 4 p.m. March 2 at Schaible Auditorium, and will be followed by a discussion with director Tadashi Ogawa.

Venus study is finalist in NASA’s Discovery Program

Venus was once Earth-like and maybe even habitable. Why is it so different from Earth now? UAF Geophysical Institute research professor Robert Herrick is a member of a science team that hopes to find an answer. His group is one of four finalists in NASA's Discovery Program competition.

UA registration for One Health conference

UA staff and faculty who would like to participate in the 2020 One Health conference can now use their department's fund and org number online. Registration ends March 4.
