BLaST celebrates Weltzin as October scientist

Maegan Weltzin, assistant professor in UAF's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, is the Biomedical Training and Student Training program's scientist of the month for October. Weltzin is a BLaST Faculty Pilot project awardee.

Degree undergraduates taking at least 6 credits can apply for an individual award of $2,500 or a group award of $5,000 for spring 2021 projects.

Apply by Nov. 1 for the Biomedical Learning and Student Training program's undergraduate research funds.
