AVÀÇÂÛ̳

Welcome to 2020!

As we begin 2020, we will advance our strategic planning efforts and continue work on strategic enrollment planning and our upcoming institutional accreditation. There is much for UAF to be proud of and I am grateful for your energy, innovation and commitment over the past year.

Today we welcome our new and returning students to the spring 2020 semester. On Monday, we honor Martin Luther King Jr. and observe AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Civil Rights Day. Next month, we will celebrate Elizabeth Peratrovich Day, in recognition of the Tlingit leader's civil rights work for AVÀÇÂÛ̳'s Indigenous peoples. Our community’s commitment to advancing a culture of respect, diversity, inclusion and caring for all people is key to our identity as an institution and vital to our future. Thank you for your role in meeting this important part of our mission.

I wish you a productive and successful spring semester.

Thank you for choosing UAF.
