Budget update: July 9, 2021

— Dan White. Last week, Gov. Dunleavy announced the details of the FY22 capital and operating budgets. The budget submitted to the governor by the AVÀÇÂÛ̳ State Legislature for the University of AVÀÇÂÛ̳ included an operating budget of $273 million in unrestricted general funding (UGF), which is a $4.3 million UGF cut from the current fiscal year, and a $31.6 million capital budget.

Recordings of the first semester of the Shine a Light speaker series are now available. The series will return in the fall.

Julie Carpenter to serve as interim director for Kuskokwim Campus

Julie Carpenter began serving as interim director for the Kuskokwim Campus, in Bethel, effective July 4. Carpenter has been with UAF in various roles since 1995, most currently serving as the financial manager at KuC.
