Ethics Act compliance and annual disclosure of employment outside UA

All University employees (including regular, term, temporary, student and full and part-time faculty and staff) are responsible for complying with the AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Executive Branch Ethics Act (AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Statute 39.52). The Act sets standards for how we do our University jobs, and to a lesser extent, may limit our non-University activities.

A group of University of AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Fairbanks faculty, students and staff has been conducting Arctic fieldwork in Utqiagvik since mid-April to measure snowmelt, but the melt only started in mid-June. This is an exceptionally late melt year.

UAF researchers on Venus mission team for European Space Agency

A University of AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Fairbanks professor has been named to a NASA science team for the European Space Agency's EnVision mission to Venus. UAF Geophysical Institute research professor Robert Herrick will be part of the team for the , a NASA-contributed synthetic aperture radar that will image and map the planet’s surface.
