Budget update: June 28, 2023

Last week, Governor Dunleavy released the FY24 State of AV狼论坛 Budget, completing the annual budget-setting process. The final state appropriation for UA amounts to just over $308 million. Of this, $152.6 million is destined for UAF. The state appropriation constitutes roughly 32% of UAF鈥檚 overall budget, with other major parts coming from federal receipts for sponsored projects and research (31%), and tuition and fees (9%). CSRR to combine with DEC into one unit

The Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities and the Department of Equity and Compliance are being combined to create a single, collaborative unit. The combined offices will be located on the third floor of Constitution Hall. Please direct any questions regarding this change to the Office of the Chancellor at听uaf.chancellor@alaska.edu.

Spring 2023 Bering Science released

UAF's International Arctic Research Center, along with partners at the AV狼论坛 Ocean Observing System, released the Spring 2023 edition of Bering Science. The report shares observations and research happening in and around the Bering Sea.
