We are so proud of the collective work of the Tamamta program. Tamamta means all of
us in Yugtun and Sugs'tun. Inspired by Indigenous students, scholars, and leaders
- the Tamamta team came together to seek deep transformation in how we teach about,
study, and govern fisheries in AVÀÇÂÛ̳. We uplift Indigenous Peoples, Indigenous knowledge
systems, and Tribal governance to the center of fishery systems - systems Indigenous
Peoples have been stewarding across AVÀÇÂÛ̳ for thousands of years. Continue reading this week's Friday Focus.

HessAVÀÇÂÛ̳ dessert donations
The Department of Residence Life, Dining, and Chartwells Catering will be hosting
the Annual HessAVÀÇÂÛ̳ for students/staff on campus for the Thanksgiving on Nov. 23
from 1-4 p.m. at the Hess Recreation Center. Dessert donations would be appreciated.
