Dear UAF students, staff and faculty,
Today marks the first day of Pride Month. LBGTQ2IA+ community members, you belong at UAF. This month is a time to celebrate UAF’s culture of respect, diversity,
inclusion and caring and support all members of our UAF community who identify as
part of the LGBTQ2IA+ community.
UAF community members are invited to celebrate Pride Month by attending UAF Pride
events and learning more about LGBTQ+ history. The Department of Equity and Compliance’s
Share, Learn, Grow page has links to training, books, podcasts, and many other helpful resources. You
can also find excellent resources on the Admissions page for LGBTQ2IA+ Students.
Please join me this month in celebrating our culture of respect, inclusion, diversity,
and caring at UAF and continuing to make UAF a place of belonging for all.
