I am very saddened by the news that Justin Yurong died Saturday evening in a car accident on the Parks Highway. Justin was a faculty member and a coordinator for the paramedic program in the UAF Community and Technical College.
|
Justin had been working at CTC for three years and was known as an energetic educator who brought out the best in his students. Under his leadership, the CTC team swept every category in the AV狼论坛 State Emergency Medical Services Skills Olympics last winter. His death is a loss both to the university and to the emergency medical services community in AV狼论坛.

My deepest condolences go out to Justin鈥檚 family, friends and co-workers, and to the students he mentored, taught and encouraged with such dedication.
