Commencement, Saturday, May 4

If you're planning to graduate this semester, congratulations! You're almost there.

The Fairbanks commencement ceremony will take place at the Carlson Center on May 4. If you're planning to walk you'll need regalia. You'll also need to arrive at 12:20 p.m. to line up with your college or school.

The processional will begin promptly at 1:20 p.m.

Accessibility
If you require special seating, a large-print program, an enhanced audio unit or other assistance at the commencement ceremony, please contact Disability Services at 474-5655 or uaf-disability-services@alaska.edu. If you have a family member who needs assistance, please have them email Carla Browning or call 474-7778.

Community campus ceremony dates and times are listed online. If you do not live in Fairbanks but plan to participate in the ceremony at the Carlson Center, please send an email to uaf-events@alaska.edu.

After the ceremony, graduates and their families are invited to a reception hosted by the in the Pioneer Room. More information has been provided below and on the commencement website.

Purchase regalia by March 24

Caps, gowns and other regalia must be bought before commencement. These items are not included in the graduation fee. They must be ordered here
by March 24. After this date, please contact the UAF Bookstore for assistance at 474-6858.

RSVP by April 15

Be sure to by April 15
so a reader card is ready for you May 4.
To do so, check your email for commencement updates. The email will contain a link for you to RSVP for the ceremony and record the pronunciation of your name. This recording will guide the announcer at the ceremony.

Celebrate at the
Grad Bash April 27!

Graduates, plus one guest, are invited to a party hosted by the Pub and the UAF Alumni Association. The bash begins at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 27. Must be 21+ to participate.
