Internet service expansions

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, many local and national internet service providers have started offering free or low-priced expansions.

The Well at UAF has switched its daily group meditation practice to an online format, from

Starting Saturday, the UAF Community Yoga Club will offer a free yoga practice via Facebook Live.

The virtual 5k helps you get out and exercise during this time of social distancing and quarantine.

Nanook Recreation will be closed in response to news and regulations regarding COVID-19.

OIT help online, chat, phone

The OIT service desk team is available to help through online, chat and phone venues. Physical offices will be closed until further notice.

New suicide prevention program for students

Being a student takes a lot of work, and it's easy to get overwhelmed. An interactive screening program can help connect students with the right person or resource.

The Nanook Diversity and Action Center will be hosting UAF's 2020 lavender graduation on April 25!

Bookstore accepting online orders, free shipping

UAF Bookstore is suspending in store service beginning March 18, 2020. All retail purchases can be made online. Additionally, Follett is extending free ground shipping on all orders.

Wi-Fi added to parking lots

OIT has extended Wi-Fi outside in the following parking lots on the Fairbanks campus to provide UAF students, faculty and staff access to secure wireless from the comfort of their car.

Rasmuson Library hours change

The Rasmuson Library is closed to the general public. Students and employees still have card access, and virtual help is available.

Key-swipe after 5:30 p.m.

Starting March 19, all Troth Yeddha' campus and Fairbanks-area buildings with key card swipe entry will be secured at 5:30 p.m. and on weekends.
