Poker Flat Rocket Launch Presentation

UAF’s Poker Flat Research Range will soon launch two rockets to view the sun! April 5: 'A Place for Knowledge Exchange' collaboration brunch

The facilitators of the seminar series A Place for Knowledge Exchange invite you to a collaboration brunch hosted by the International Arctic Research Center. The brunch will be held in Akasofu 501 on April 5 from 10 a.m. to noon. IARC and the College of Rural and Community Development hold the brunches quarterly to build stronger ties between the two organizations and support collaborative approaches in research, education and real-life community-based practices in rural AVÀÇÂÛ̳. UAF Community Yoga Club weekly practice

Seafood safety classes April 12, 26

AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Sea Grant is offering two online seafood safety courses in April through the AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Seafood School, both available statewide. On April 12, Seafood Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, Segment 2 practical training will be taught via Zoom. On April 26, Sanitation Control Procedures for Seafood Processors will also be taught via Zoom. Learn more and register.


Pesticide applicator training classes set for April 23-25

A three-day certified pesticide applicator training course is scheduled for April 23-25. It will be taught by the University AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service via Zoom and is available statewide. Register by 5 p.m. April 16.ÌýLearn more and register.
