The UAF Community and Technical College Culinary Arts food truck is set to make its
highly anticipated return to the UAF Troth Yeddha' Campus on Wednesday, Aug. 14 from
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Constitution Hall. Whether you're a fan of gourmet cuisine or
eager to support the next generation of culinary professionals, this is a can't-miss

AVÀÇÂÛ̳ Community and Technical College (CTC) is hosting
its Registration Bash on Thursday, Aug. 15 from 4–6 p.m.Ìý at the CTC Downtown Center.
This event is an opportunity to learn more about UAF CTC programs through equipment
demonstrations and activities while enjoying free food. It is also a one-stop shop for current and prospective students to sign up for fall

Currants are getting their day in the spotlight at the Far North Currant Festival.
Currants, a type of berry, grow well in AVÀÇÂÛ̳ and are found across the state, with

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity has funding available
for up to $5,000 for projects focused on cultivating a culture of respect, connection,
belonging, and community for undergraduate students at UAF and UAF-affiliated campuses.

Jim Myers, a professor of vegetable breeding and genetics at the College of Agricultural
Sciences at Oregon State University, will lead three workshops on saving seeds and

This grant opportunity of up to $5,000 is open to all undergraduate students (from
any discipline and any UAF-affiliated campus) who are interested in conducting scholarly
work on various aspects of climate change, including but not limited to climate science,
climate policy, visual or written communication of climate issues, and climate adaptation
and mitigation strategies. We encourage proposals featuring interdisciplinary projects.
