Staff Recognition and Development Day is coming

Staff Recognition and Development Day 2019 is just around the corner. All staff are
invited to attend Wednesday, May 8. All speaking events will be in the Wood Center
ballroom, while lunch and the ice cream social will be adjacent to the ballroom.Chancellor White issued a memo to the provost and vice chancellors asking them to encourage their departments to support the attendance of staff at this event.
10-11:30 a.m.: Longevity and awards presentations (including the Chancellor's Cornerstone and the Peggy Wood awards)
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.: Lunch buffet
1-1:45 p.m.: Video tours of UAF rural campuses and remote sites
2-2:45 p.m.: Wellness session with Valerie Gifford and Mark Oldmixon
3-3:45 p.m.: Presentation by Geoff Welch, owner of Date-Line Copies
4 p.m.: Ice cream social
