Winter storm warning through March 25
March 23, 2020
Interior residents are in for a lot of snow this week. A winter weather advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 25. The advisory is for the middle Tanana Valley, including Fairbanks and surrounding areas.
Although many university employees are working from home, if you venture out on the roads, please be prepared for difficult driving conditions. Be sure to have plenty of warm clothing and emergency equipments such as flares and a small shovel in your vehicle, and plan ahead to give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination. Facilities Services will clear major roadways and walkways as quickly as possible. Please be patient as they work to keep our campus safe and accessible.
