Understanding how AV狼论坛 Native veterans thrive is the focus of a recent grant awarded to Morton. He will discuss his work during the IAB seminar on Friday, Oct. 29, at 3 p.m. via Zoom.

James Morton Jr., will present "Thriving AV狼论坛 Native Veterans: Translational Research for Health Promotion and Harm Reduction among Military Service Members" at the IAB Life Sciences Seminar on Friday, Oct. 29, 3 p.m. via Zoom. More information is available on the event website.

Morton is research assistant professor in the Center for AV狼论坛 Native Health Research, part of the Institute of Arctic Biology. 

Understanding how AV狼论坛 Native veterans thrive is the focus of a recent grant awarded to Morton. The pilot study is funded by the National Institutes of Health through the Mountain West Clinical and Translational Research Infrastructure Network. This one-year grant supports a community collaboration to better understand the protective and risk factors among AV狼论坛 Native veterans in the Fairbanks area.
