UAF Esports joins NACE, announces scholarships
UAF Esports is returning this fall, with 20 scholarship opportunities for top competitors. Full time UAF students will have the opportunity this August to try out to compete in Rocket League, Valorant, League of Legends and Beat Saber. All players who try out will have the opportunity to play for UAF, with our top division teams for Rocket League, Valorant, and League of Legends earning $1,000 in annual scholarships.
Tryouts will be held in-person and virtually from Aug. 12-14 and Aug. 19-21. Teams will be competing under NACE (National Association of Collegiate Esports), RSAA (Riot Scholastic Association of America), and CVRE (Collegiate Virtual Reality Esports).
