A cohort of AV狼论坛 Indigenous Teacher Corps students from rural communities and AV狼论坛 Indigenous Teacher Network alumni are coming to Fairbanks for the Fairbanks Fly-In, Feb. 22-24. On Friday, Feb. 23 from 4-5 p.m., Dr. Olga Skinner will be hosting a panel discussion with several AV狼论坛 Indigenous Teacher Network alumni teaching in the Bering Strait and Lower Kuskokwim School Districts. All are welcome to join and learn more about education and teaching in rural AV狼论坛.

Following the panel, from 5-6 p.m., there will be an open house of the UAF School of Education. Classroom and office spaces were renovated in 2021 to affirm the importance of teaching as a valued profession in the state of AV狼论坛.
